Location & description of our Society
One
of Berkshire's local amdram societies,
Warfield Players have been in existence for about 20 years. We started
out with the intention of bringing the youth of the village and local
area onto the stage in song and dance.
This was achieved in the traditional fashion with yearly pantomimes, often
involving many children from the local church and schools. The 'Players
also put on a Review from time to time, with great success.
The Players are well
known for staging drama and musicals
and
have a small but enthusiastic core with many plans for current and future
productions.
We
aim to put on at least two 'dramatic' shows a year, together with perhaps
one or two purely musical events. The 'drama' would probably comprise
a pantomime and something else a little different.
Warfield
Players - your first stop if you want to get involved with acting, singing
and dancing!
